Happy New Year and some great news from Maddes: on YouTube we released two contrasting music videos with visual impressions of Japan. Director is Ruben Kempter (wirschneidengold). Make sure to check them out and share! Maddes is going to release a new single “Rounded Corners” (03.03.2017) and EP “Tools of No Use” in Fall 2017 here on Aerostat Records, we’re excited!
It’s release time again! We are proud to announce the release of the full-length debut album of Maddes (songwriter Matthias Roos from Saarbrücken) called “Fielded”. The record contains 11 tracks and is now available on most digital download stores (iTunes, Amazon, … see full list of stores at the end of this letter). You can also stream the album on many platforms like Spotify.
“Idaho” single video is on YouTube. It was directed by two amazing video artists from Stuttgart/Ravensburg (Jan Wittekindt and Ruben Kempter), who did a fantastic job. You should definitely check that out.
“…light and breezy indie that uses pastel shades and a laid-back vibe to seduce your brain, coupling this with chimes of electric guitar and more of a complexity of sound that it seems to let on at first. There is a mellow twang of Elliott Smith about this track and also hints of dreampop drifting by, all filtered through mid-period Teenage Fanclub…” (Kevin Wright – SoundsXP)
