Maddes – Fielded – Album Release

Maddes - Fielded - Album Artwork by Xavier Roart

It’s release time again! We are proud to announce the release of the full-length debut album of Maddes (songwriter Matthias Roos from Saarbrücken) called “Fielded”. The record contains 11 tracks and is now available on most digital download stores (iTunes, Amazon, … see full list of stores at the end of this letter). You can also stream the album on many platforms like Spotify.

Maddes produced the album with the help of our good friend Filippo Gaetani (Ray Recordings), who also mixed it. The record was mastered by Alex Wharton in the legendary Abbey Road studios (London).

“Idaho” single video is on YouTube. It was directed by two amazing video artists from Stuttgart/Ravensburg (Jan Wittekindt and Ruben Kempter), who did a fantastic job. You should definitely check that out.

“…light and breezy indie that uses pastel shades and a laid-back vibe to seduce your brain, coupling this with chimes of electric guitar and more of a complexity of sound that it seems to let on at first. There is a mellow twang of Elliott Smith about this track and also hints of dreampop drifting by, all filtered through mid-period Teenage Fanclub…” (Kevin Wright – SoundsXP)
